An FM transmitter is a portable device that plugs into the headphone jack or proprietary output port of a portable audio or video device, such as a media player, CD player, or satellite radio system. The sound is then broadcast through the transmitter, and plays through an FM frequency. So you can play your music from your iPod on you home or car stereo.

How to use your FM transmitter

1)Find a station that has only static – no talk or music. If you can’t find a station with only static, tune to one that has the most amount of static and the least amount of talk or music.

2)Plug the FM transmitter into you iPod/MP3 Player.

3)Tune the FM Transmitter to the same frequency as the station you have selected on your radio.

4)Play a song and your Music will be playing through your Radio. For better quality your volume on your iPod/MP3 player should be set to 75% loudness to help against distortion.
