The HQ1 Vibration Stereophone

From the challenging missions of Zelda and Halo to the virtual sporting events of NBA Ballers and MVP Baseball, gamers thrive on their need for action, and whether it's a high speed chase or a boxing match, Koss' HQ1 Vibration Stereophone will bring any game to life.

The HQ1 Vibration Stereophone features two elements: a vibration element for tactile movement of the headphone and a dynamic element for stereo sound reproduction. To make a virtual game come to life, the vibration element translates frequencies below 100 Hz into vibrations, creating a "moving" experience. For increased vibration when the action is at its peak, a thumb wheel control on the left earcup provides easy vibration level adjustment. An ON/OFF switch allows the user to listen to the same high quality sound with or without the vibration.

In addition to the vibration element, the HQ1 features a 1 mil. thick mylar diaphragm and neodymium iron boron magnet structures to deliver a full range of deep bass and treble clarity for a frequency response of 20-20,000 Hz. Oxygen free copper voice coils improve signal transmission and conduction for a Sound of Koss that is clean and clear. Closed, leatherette ear cushions seal around the ear maximizing isolation and impressive bass performance.

A soft, padded headband on the HQ1 ensures comfort during lengthy virtual adventures and challenging tasks. When joining other gamers on the actual or virtual road, the HQ1 collapses for convenient portability and easy storage. For added durability, the HQ1 features an 8 foot extra, heavy cord (4 mm) and strain relief when the thrill of the chase gets you jumping out of your seat.

The HQ1 operates on 2 "AAA" alkaline batteries and has a 40-hour battery life.
